Кто разработал новую программу на основе ИИ
Новая программа создана стараниями крупного китайского конгломерата Alibaba и, как передает MIT Technology Review, она работает с набором данных MS MARCO компании от Microsoft. MS MARCO — это, грубо говоря, обширная база данных, где собраны реальные запросы, которые пользователи адресовали поисковой системе Bing. Именно на запросах и их формулировках на разных языках и «тренировался» искусственный интеллект.
Как обучили ИИ
На самом деле все довольно просто. Программа должна была обработать огромное количество веб-страниц, чтобы ответить на вопрос «Что такое корпорация?». Основываясь на запросах пользователей, а также на выдаваемых вариантах ответов, система выработала алгоритм, по которому нужно сформулировать ответ. Что интересно, сам ответ системе «не показывали». Она должна была сама «догадаться», какой вариант правильный. Иными словами, «люди научили машину гуглить».

В данном случае верной считалась фраза «Корпорация — это компания или группа людей, уполномоченных действовать как единая организация и признанная в таком качестве на законодательном уровне». Когда пришла пора контрольных испытаний, системе и людям задали этот вопрос, и машина справилась гораздо быстрее. Более того, ИИ куда лучше людей выдавал правильный ответ и на других языках (а не только на том, на котором производился запрос).
Зачем это нужно?
По словам старшего вице-президента Alibaba Лу Си, у нового алгоритма большое будущее.
«ИИ позволит усовершенствовать чат-ботов, которые общаются с покупателями онлайн-магазинов или клиентами интернет-провайдеров на начальном этапе. К тому же, он будет ключевым элементом при улучшении работы поисковых систем и программ-переводчиков. Тем не менее, до полноценного общения с машинами еще далеко. Большинство алгоритмов отвечают на вопросы, основываясь на фактах, но им, в отличие от людей, не хватает навыков рассуждения. Было бы неплохо добавить такую функцию в будущем.»
